Your services are at the core of the Yupeto platform and you can't take bookings without them but they are really flexible! So let's dive in and create your first service so you can start taking those bookings.
To add a new service on Yupeto, navigate to the main menu and select "Services." Look for the "New" button located in the top right-hand corner of the screen and press it.
Enter a name for the service you are offering. This name should clearly indicate what your customers will be booking. For example, you could use names like "Rabbit Boarding," "Cat Grooming," "Dog Walking," or "Grooming with Hannah."
Choose the appropriate booking type for your service. You can select from three options:
Indicate which days of the week your service is available for booking by selecting the corresponding days.
A pricing model is required for each slot in your service. You can create multiple prices within a model. For example, if you offer small animal bookings, your pricing model could include prices for single or paired rabbits. The qty you select in each price is for the number of pets.
Next, create your available slots. These can be either specific time slots or a set quantity of the same type of slot. For example, you could create individual time slots for bookings or quantity-based slots like "Outdoor Hutch" and have 10 hutches available. Assign your pricing model to each slot you create.
Finally, specify how many days in advance customers can make bookings, whether the service is currently live, if the service is publicly bookable, and the minimum and maximum number of days allowed for a booking.
Once you have completed all the necessary information, click on the "Create" button to save your new service.
